Basic Rules

Equipment:

Flash Ball: Doubles all warriors' attacks once per adventure.

Weapon:

BroadSword: +3 Strength. Two-handed weapon.

Armour:

Metallakª-PlateArmour: +2 Toughness.

Special:

Metallakª Shoulder-Mounted Quarrel-Launcherª: Fires 3 quarrels simultaneously at 3+ BS. Causes (no of quarrels that hit)D6 damage, treated as one blow. This is modified as usual.


Special Rules:

  1. The Bar-Bot has Ignore Blow 6+
  2. Weapons: Can only use his BroadSword or up to two one-handed missle weapons (pistol-crossbow, etc).
  3. Armour: Cannot use armour, shields, cloaks, boots, etc.
  4. Cannot use anything (armour, rings, boots, etc) that would increase his characteristics (attacks, movement, toughness, etc).
  5. Cannot use potions, spells or magic scrolls but may use runes and magic items that obey all the restrictions.
  6. Can use anything that a Barbarian can use, except for the above.
  7. May only be healed by magic spells.
  8. If the Bar-Bot gets a Death-Blow, he is at +3 to hit the next target(s).
  9. At the start of each fight, roll 1D6. On a 1, the Bar-Bot malfunctions and causes 1D3 damage to all adjacent models, with no modifiers for anything. He may do nothing for the rest of this turn, except regenerate, and he is at +2 to be hit.
  10. A Bar-Bot will never back down from a fight or challenge due an unfinished survival instinct algorithm.
  11. Due to his appearance, the Bar-Bot has considerable trouble entering settlements. He may only enter one if he gets 4+ on 1D6, otherwise he must stay outside until the others are ready to leave.
  12. The Bar-Bot is too heavy to ride on a horse, etc, but may ride in a cart.
  13. The Bar-Bot is programmed to speak many languages. When he attempts to read/write/speak a language roll 1D6. On a 4+ he suceeds.
  14. If he comes into contact with, he loses 1 point of movement each turn. If his movement hits zero, he has rusted solid.

Upgrading the Bar-Bot

Starts with Ignore Blow 6+

Everytime the Bar-Bot gains a skill, roll 2D6 on the following table:
2 - Electric hand: BS 4+, Kills target, twice per adventure.

3 - Force Field: Shield yourself and one other adjacent warrior from all damage until the end of the next turn once per adventure. Cannot be attacked, except by magic spells. May move as normal and attack at -2 to hit.

4 - Bear Hug: As Barbarian's Grapple.

5 - Hover: May move over water, chasms, pits, etc. -1 to be hit. Lasts until end of turn. BL times per adventure. Roll 1D6. On a 1, your Metallakª Hover-Motor fails and you fall into whatever you were trying to hover over.

6 - Repair Kit: Regenerate 1D3 wounds per turn.

7 - Pick any Skill

8 - Ignore Pain: Bar-Bot gets Ignore Pain of 1/2 BL, rounded down.

9 - Staple: If all three arrows hit a target adjacent to a wall, it is pinned to the wall and may do nothing for the rest of the turn as it frees itself. It takes normal damage, but with no modifiers for anything. You cannot staple large monsters.

10 - Optical Enhancement: Roll 1D6. Each enhancement may be gained once. If you roll an enhancement you already have reroll until you get a new one. If you have all the enhancements roll for a different skill instead.
  1. 1-2: InfraRed-Shift - Avoid effect of ambush, trap, etc on 5+ on 1D6.
  2. 3-4: Night Vision - Can see in the dark.
  3. 5-6: Isographic Targeting - +1 BS
11 - Teleport: May teleport himself to any explored part of the dungeon twice per adventure.

12 - Weapon Grab: When hit in combat, you may choose to roll a 1D6:
  1. 1: Blow does an extra 2D6 damage, unmodified.
  2. 2-5: No effect.
  3. 6: Monster loses all remaining attacks this go as he retrieves his weapon.
