Sybillin

Overview:

The Sybillin Empire is thus far unknown. OMNET is currently enacting First Contact Procedures (as listed in the First Contact Protocals) We do not have contact with this Empire because something really strange occurs there every day at the same hour : a green light appears in space for a while then disappears until another light, blue this time, reappears. Some have tried to get into this Empire but nobody has ever come back!

Technology:

This Empire has average technology which is based on an ecological technology which is new to OMNET. From what we can tell, everything in the Sybillin Empire is created with life as flowers, trees and animals.

Magic:

Magic is always used. That’s why it is strongest in people.

Size:

This empire is a little one with 3 star systems. Each star system contains at least 5 planets sustaining life.
  • Sybone with Sybone 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.
  • Sybtwo with Sybtwo 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
  • Sybthree with Sybthree 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Population:

Approximately 5 Million.

Climate and Geography:

The all planets of the Empire are Green and Blue, because of all the water and forests. There are some mountainous regions in the Northern Sector of each planet, but as yet, there have been no explorations of these areas. The climates are typically temperate or tropical.

Flora and Fauna:

All plants and animals known to inhabit the other planets associated with OMNET are present in the Sybillin Empire.

History:

All things begin with and come from life. Nature is the true power here and humans never do anything that might harm the forces present in Nature. All signs point to a very ecologically conscious people.

Government:

Nature rules this empire. Humans live in villages. In these villages, one chief is chosen to represent his village in the Great Consulting on Sybone 1. The Great Consulting is usually held only when something wrong occurs in the Empire.

Foreign Policy:

Helpful.

Domestic Policy:

Easy going

Society:

The society don't exist in real. Every body lives for themselves and for Nature. The only thing they know is that living in a village is easier on Nature than living in the wild.

Languages:

There are many languages. All people know the animal languages as well as their own.

Religion:

The predominant belief is in Nature.

Castes:

There are no castes.

Economy:

There is no economy. In fact, everybody helps everybody. When you need something, just ask and nothing will be asked in exchange, just thanks.

Military:

The entire population can join the military. In fact, everybody can use the technologies and magic against any danger. They do not, however, like war.

Sports and Leisure:

They work constantly for Nature. They don't have time for leisure, so they don't know what is it.

Major Population Centers:

There are no major Cities, just a bunch of villages.

Chronic Problems:

No problems. The only thing they have to check is when a stranger comes there. The stranger will only be accepted as one of the Sybillin.
