AKA, 'Twin Council' ('Draconis Collective' & 'Eliestrian Mists')
Overview: |
]]]]] The inhabitants of the Eliestrian Nebula, having recently finished conducting First Contact Protocols with the Omnet, and having been forced to co-operate with each other by their recent awareness of the Greater Galaxy, have but recently come to terms with what it means to be a member of the Greater Galaxy, and the responsibility that they feel their membership requires of them. Still shocked by the 'new' ideas of Matter and Energy, these sentience are showing an unprecedented desire to take their rightful place within the Galactic community, and have started to make headway towards achieving their goals. Still mildly 'shell-shocked' about the new ideas called 'Matter' and 'Energy', these sentients are showing a fascination with the physical side of the Galaxy. |

|
Q-dex: |
]]]]] Due to recent advances within Omnet capabilities, this Q-Zone has been more properly classified. No longer is the Q-Dex Classification of the TSR an unknown value. Notably, due to recent quantum fluctuations within this Zone, the esoteric capabilities of the inhabitants of this Zone increased by a minor degree. (Added to an already high esoteric focus, these modifications have increased the mystical capabilities of the native sentients to levels unheard of within their own histories.) |
Technology: |
]]]]] The science of
physics, and its application technology, are a relatively
new phenomenon within this Zone. Thereby the
technological capabilities of the inhabitants are
considered minimal.
|
Magic: |
]]]]]
The esoteric sciences, and their application, magic, have
been developed unto a highly capable system of effects.
There is believed to be very little that these sentients
can not achieve within the esoteric realms.
|
Size: |
]]]]] The current 'size' of the Eliestrian Nebula is estimated to be approx. 70 stellar systems worth of 'space'. Only three stellar systems are believed to actually reside within the Nebula. As for the Nebula itself, there appears to be a large number of free-floating 'collectives' of substance (Matter and/or Mana). These 'collectives' of substance are deemed to be a navigational hazard. |
Population: |
]]]]] The current census information provided to the
Omnet, by the Scythe-Draconis, numbers the population of
the Scythe-Draconis to be approx. 32 billion. The
previous numbers given were due to errors in the
translation effects employed by the Twin Council, and we
apologize for any misunderstanding that may have taken
place. ]]]]] At present, the population estimate for the s'Laerin is unknown. [Omnet Reference: Not even the s'Laerin know how many of their people there are within the Nebula. Not that they try to keep track.] |
Climate and Geography: |
]]]]] As such things mean little to these inhabitants of the nebula, this information is not considered to be relevant. As for those who wish to visit, we must warn you that outside of artificial breathing apparatus, there is no naturally occurring breathable gases within the Nebula. |
Flora and Fauna: |
]]]]] Information on the life-forms within this Zone is difficult to categorize or classify as there is such a degree of difficulty in isolating a creature of energy or essence in a mass of substance very similar to itself. As such, information on the life-forms of the Nebula, while known to exist, is impossible to collect. |
History: |
]]]]] The history of these two species is long and convoluted. Due to the nature of such subjects, the Scythe-Draconis have requested that such information be withheld from the Omnet’s databases for the time being. Reasoning for this request is currently unknown, but the request is being respected. |
Government: |
]]]]] As
the governance system vary greatly between these sentient
species the collection of this information is considered
speculative at best. As such information is considered of
especial interest, we have made every effort to gather
such information. Due to the nature of the sentient we
are dealing with, errors are known to happen. We, the
Omnet, take no responsibility for the correctness nor the
validity of information listed within this section.
|
Society: |
]]]]] The society of the Scythe-Draconis is based
upon three pillars (House Allegiance, Clan Allegiance,
and Personal Ability.) Having many Houses, many Clans,
and many definitions of ability, the social structure of
the Scythe-Draconis has proven to be beyond comprehension
by visitors. This is thought to be caused by the fact
that the Scythe-Draconis still retain a large amount of
instinctive behavior from their ancestral beginnings. ]]]]] As to the society of the s'Laerin, there is only one definition that can be applied. They do not have a society. They do what they want as long as it does not interfere with what another is doing. Upon the few instances of interference, the individuals determine what they want to do.
|
Economy: |
]]]]] The economic capacity of the Scythe-Draconis is
based upon a non-modifiable, non-reproducible substance
that is considered indestructible. This substance appears
to be a variant of Blackvoid, but it is unknown if that
is true, as the Scythe-Draconis consider this substance
to be theirs and theirs alone. ]]]]] As expected, the s'Laerin do not have an economic system more complicated than that of bartering services. |
Military: |
]]]]] The military capabilities of the Scythe-Draconis are considered to be unmatched in their mystical characteristics, but very weak in the physical characteristics. The Scythe-Draconis are seeking to overcome this limitation through alliances and trade agreements. |
Sports and Leisure: |
]]]]] Unknown, and probably unknowable. |
Major Population Centers: |
]]]]] We do not believe that either species has a major population center, as such we have not listed such information within this entry. |
Chronic Problems: |
]]]]] The only known societal problems within the Draconis Collective is their inability to adapt to changing ideas. They desire everything to stay the same as it was. Doing something without precedent is for the s'Laerin, not the Draconis. But, as the activities of the Draconis have shown, what the s'Laerin do, so can the Scythe-Draconis. [Precedence being established and all.] |
