Technology: |
Technology on Genesi is high. As some may say, it is technology that has made Genesi what it is today. With most all of the planet plagued with storms, Genesi must rely on technology to survive. Many of the Genesi population believe that if it were not of technology, there would be no Genesi. Technology of any kind is always welcome at Genesi. However, weapons and items of destruction are forbidden and punishable by death. | ||
Magic: |
Though magic is used on Genesi, law forbids anyone to use magic except for those of high rank in the government and research personnel. Magic is an important part of the technology on Genesi. Without magic, most all of the technology on Genesi would not exist. Use of magic by any other than those of high rank or scientists are banned to the surface. With raging storms and mean animals, anyone living on the surface is destined to die a slow death. The main magic used on Genesi is that of Rune Magic. Rune Magic is the ability to alter the elements and create, or destroy, anything. With proper training and a high will, anyone with the knowledge of Rune Magic will surely be promoted into the high ranks of the scientists. | ||

Genesi consists of one solar system. One planet in the Genesi system is able to sustain life. This is the planet known as Genesi. Only 6 other planets are in the Genesi system. While none of these planets have been named by the populace of Genesi, the original names of the planets still remain. Genesi is the 4th planet from the sun. These planets, from other races, have named the systems as follows... 1- Colony 1 2- Colony 2 3- Colony 3 4- Genesi (Renamed from Colony 4) 5- Colony 5 6- Colony 6 Depending on the crime committed, each person was sent to a different planet as punishment for the crimes committed. While Genesi was a smaller crime planet, it was the only planet able to support life. When Genesi was propelled into the space travel era, researchers discovered that, though inhabitable, many of the other planets, did at one time, sustain life. Many had small "towns" made out of nothing but the scraps from the cargo carrier that transported those people to the planet to die. Scientists are currently underway in developing a ""station" to sustain life on the largest of the planets, Colony 3. |

Population: |
Genesi is currently populated by 2,000,000,000 people. Each person on Genesi is free. Very few laws govern Genesi. Those who have problems with others are encouraged to resolve the differences between the two. If an agreement is not reached, the two in question are required to "duel" it out in the Arena. This is one reason Genesi has been able to keep a fairly decent population. The 2 Billion people of Genesi reside in no more than 20% of the planets capacity. All accounted resident are those who live underground. People residing on the surface of Genesi are not considered into the population. It is rumored that very few people have actually survived the storms. Those who have survived, have made a small shelter in a mountain cave. Though this cave is only a small dwelling, it is unknown how many of these caves are in existence. | ||
Climate and Geography: |
Genesi is plagued with violent electrical storms. These storms rage across the surface approximately every 15 minutes (earth time). Genesi has been unable to contain these storms. However, these storms do seem to have a pattern they follow. It is believed that before the planet came under the control of Genesi, there was an alien race that called this planet home. History states that the storms were only recently active on the planets surface. Historians have found that the aliens from before had a great temple on the surface. The race started fighting among themselves. An evil wizard was unhappy with his way of life on the planet. As a pay back for his unhappiness, he cast a spell to destroy the castle. Without knowing his true potential, this alien wizard drew all of his available power for casting the spell. Little knowledge of magic was know to these aliens. Without knowing his own strength, this evil wizard unleashed a electrical wave across the land in hopes of destroying the castle. To this day, these storms still rage across the world. Destroying anything unprotected across the surface. Because of these storms, all plant life on the surface of Genesi is all but destroyed. Mutations have grown and nature has adapted. Scientists are currently studying the new plant life recently found on the surface. These plants seem to be able to live through the electrical storms. Scientists have recently discovered that these plants not only survive the storms, they thrive on them. The electrical storms are what feed the plants. Without the storms, these plants will die. One area of the Genesi surface is untouched by the storms. This is where the entrance to the underground city of Genesi is located. Beautiful plants and rivers run across this small area of the surface. A small river has been forming in the center for over 100 years now. It is believed that this area of the planet is where the evil wizard originally cast his spell, this is why the surface is free from the storms. |

Flora and Flauna: |
Many animals roam the planet of Genesi. It is rumored that a large creature of some sort has taken over the surface. This creature has never been seem. However, traces of it's existence has been found. Patrol scouts have found what seems to be a lair for this massive beast. All other creatures on Genesi have been tamed and live among the people. Many have become pets. Only one animal has been protected by the Genesi government. This is the Talon. The Talon is a bird like creature. With a wing span of 4 feet, these animals have been considered the greatest hunted animal. Because of these hunts, many of the Talon have been destroyed. Genesi has protected these birds. Reason for protecting these birds have not been released. Because the Genesi empire has so many of these bird in captivity, it is unknown to the people of Genesi why they keep them. It is rumored that these birds have been used for testing. Genesi City is known for its recreational domes. These domes were the first domes built in the underground city. The Genesi people have put many hours and hard work into making these domes what they are today. Genesi thrives on these domes and encourages visitors to come and see the glory that the Genesi people have created. These domes have made Genesi a great tourist attraction for races of all types. |

History: |
The Genesi Empire was originally a prison planet. Originally called Colony 4. The Genesi Empire was created by a man called Thurk Genesi. He was banned from his home planet and sentenced to live on Colony 4 for the rest of his life. While in transport to Colony 4, Thurk was thrown into the walls of the craft, knocking him out. Supply crates landed on top of Thurk, protecting him from the devastating effects of the attack. Transport 1378 was under attack. An unknown race, who was trying to take over Colony 4, attacked the transport. This transport made an emergency crash landing onto Colony 4. Thurk was the only survivor. Because the transport ship was to drop Thurk off, the supplies were intended for another planet. Thurk Genesi was able to gather the supplies needed to survive. Because of the storms, he was unable to leave the protection of the transport. Many months later, Thurk was found by the only living people on the surface of Colony 4. These people had no will to live. They help him heal his wounds and recover his health. Because of the caring these people showed in Thurk, he took them in. Offering the only thing he had, food, the people of Colony 4 welcomed Thurk into the world. Many years of hard work and the help of the Colony 4 people, they were able to start an underground city. This city is later to become Genesi City. Several years later, the Colony 4 people were under attack. Another race had found Genesi and wanted the planet for themselves. The Colony 4 people would not give up so easily. Fighting with nothing more than stones and the will to live, the people of Colony 4 were not going to give up the planet they had worked so hard to bring to life. The battles went on for 2 years. during this time, Thurk Genesi had fallen in love. He had produced only one offspring. A boy. This boy would later become the ruler of Genesi. The people of Colony 4 were able to destroy the alien race that had attacked them so many years ago. Thurk Genesi was the man who eventually destroyed the aliens. Being the only person on Colony 4 with the ability of magic, Thurks own power was much more powerful than it was originally on him home planet. Because Thurk had no knowledge of his own power, the one and only spell he ever cast on Colony 4, to destroy the alien race, would be his last. The spell was so powerful, it destroyed Thurk upon casting. Because Thurk saved the lives of Colony 4, and gave his life for them, the people of Colony 4 named the planet after him, Genesi. Later, it was determined that Thurk was the ruler of Genesi. Without Thurk, the people of Genesi went back to their original state of mind before Thurk was ever discovered. Seeing what was happening, Thurks son, Wilman, took over where his father left off. Bringing the people of Genesi back up in spirits. 4 generations have passed. Rulership of Genesi has been handed down among the generations of the Genesi family. To this day, the Genesi Family still remain in control of Genesi. |

Government: |
Genesi is ruled by the Genesi family. At this time, only one member of the Genesi family exist. Though in wedlock, the current ruler of Genesi has no offspring. The government of Genesi is solely run by the Genesi family. Though a small group of advisors assist the family in ruling Genesi, all final matters are made by the Genesi family.
Foreign Policy: Foreign trade in Genesi is encouraged. Genesi is welcome to all new races and ideas from other people. Trade among other people have made Genesi what it is today. Without trade, the Genesi empire would not be able to create the ships and weapons that it does. The main business of Genesi is in Arms and Weapons trades. This includes ships and weapons of war. Though Genesi does not allow any person on Genesi to be armed, Genesi is considered one of the largest spacecraft manufacturers in the galaxy. Domestic Policy: Genesi believes that the people living in Genesi City are free to do as they wish. Though Genesi has very few laws, those laws are strictly enforced. Society: |
Society on Genesi is very laid back. The few laws of Genesi are followed and obeyed by all citizens. Because of the few laws on Genesi, all people obey the laws. Very few will break the laws because they know the laws are for there own protection. There is no "ranking" in the Genesi Empire. All people are considered equals. Though it seems as though there is more respect among certain families. A family on Genesi is considered a clan. These clans are all equal in the eyes of the government, however, there are "ranks" among the people. These ranks are based on what the family, or clan, has done in helping the Genesi Empire. The two largest families on Genesi, with the exclusion of Genesi, are the Bennett and the Attwood clans. These clans have been the focal point of the Genesi people. These clans leaders are the main designers and creators of the spacecraft made on Genesi. Even though these clans do not reside on Genesi, the people feel they know them like family. The Bennett and Attwood clans reside on the space station orbiting Genesi. This is where the plans and ideas for new craft and weapons are created. Languages: There is only one language on Genesi. This language is universal on Genesi. Small variations from the language are spoken in the different regions of Genesi City. Overall, the language is still the same. Religion: Genesi does not have any religion. Many of the people however, have come to worship the crypts of Thurk Genesi. Some say that he is the savior of Genesi. They say if it were not for him, there would be no Genesi or Colony 4. To this day, there are small cults that treat the Genesi family as gods. Castes: No slavery is allowed on Genesi. Each person is equal in all areas. |

Economy: |
There is no money in the Genesi Empire itself. All citizens are given what they need when they need it. Genesi relies on the people for work and help when needed. Because the citizens get what they need from the Genesi family, these people are always willing to help out in the areas they have the most knowledge in. The Genesi Empire does have a solid currency. However, this currency is only used in trades and for services directly related to the Genesi Empire. Those visiting Genesi will have no need for currency. Everything on Genesi is free to the citizens. However, guest are allowed access to the services they require while visiting Genesi. |

Military: |
The military of Genesi is very quite. It is unknown even to the people how large the military on Genesi is. Very rarely will they ever be seen. Clan members may be in the military, while other members of the same clan are unaware of this. Because of this, the military on Genesi is unknown. Only those high in the Genesi government are aware of the military forces of Genesi. It is rumored that Genesi scientists are working the bugs out of a new interface design for controlling spacecraft. These craft will be piloted by simple thoughts. It has been found that the minds work faster than the body. This interface is available to any races. Scientists from other races must work closely with the Genesi scientists in developing the interface chip used to control the craft. Each race will have a different implant placed into the brains of the pilots. These chips will be interchangeable for any type of spacecraft created by the Genesi Empire. |

Sports and Leisure: |
Few sports are available on Genesi. Leisure of Genesi is in the recreation domes. Many people will also be seen in the pleasure domes of Genesi. These domes are available for any person living or visiting Genesi. These domes are created to give the people and guests of Genesi any adventure the wish. With simple commands, these domes can be anything you wish them to be. | ||
Major Population Centers: |
The main population center of Genesi if called Genesi City. This city is the heart of Genesi. Protected by a reinforced dome, and placed underground, provides the protection needed to defend the city. No entry into the dome is allowed without proper verification from the Genesi government. | ||
Chronic Problems: |
Electrical storms on the surface of Genesi pose the largest of problems on Genesi. These storms have been very small in size, to covering more than 75% of the planet at any given time. A small band of outlaws, living on the surface, have been seen plotting again the Genesi family. These outlaws are still few in numbers and pose no real threat to Genesi City or the inner workings of Genesi. |
