The Cal-cor

Overview:

The people of the Cal-cor Empire live on a single planet in the system (except for the few with the ability to transport themselves to other places). There are two huge continents on the planet.

One side is controlled by the Elite Draymodd, a warrior people who value function over form, and honor above all else. The other continent was controlled by the Aushin, an occult wizardly people, until aliens descended on them and forced them to flee to the Draymodd continent.

The Elite Draymodd see the aliens' actions as dishonorable, and so they have formed an alliance with the Aushin to remove the aliens from the world. Neither of the allies know much about the aliens.

Q-dex:

M 111X

Technology:

The inhabitants of this world know how to craft excellent metal weapons, such as swords, axes, and daggers. They can also craft wood well, making things like staffs and bows. Electricity is unknown

Magic:

Magic is practiced by the Aushin. They fight alongside Elite Draymodd in battle. The magic ability depends on the person. It is rumored that an octal group (group of eight Aushin) will gain powers far beyond any known to date. For their planet, anyways.

Size:

The Empire is located in the center of its quantum area. There are eight planets in the empire system. Five of the planets support life. Other areas in the system are as yet unexplored.

Population:

One million native people (Aushin and Draymodd together).

Climate and Geography:

The planet with all of the inhabitants is Earth-like in atmosphere

Flora and Fauna:

Carbon-based life is predominate. Most Earth-like animals are present here. However, there is an island in-between the two large continents that both sides are hesitant to set foot on. People who go there rarely return.

History:

[THIS INFORMATION NOT YET AVAILABLE]

Government:

The system of government is feudal. Kings, queens, dukes, and the rest. Some kings are respected above others but all are given their due credit.

Foreign Policy:

Closed to invaders. Probably nice to people who leave them alone.

Domestic Policy:

Knights keep the peace according to the king's will. Sometimes alliances are formed and rebellions helped if a king goes to far. Taxes are not too high, nor are the people "happy" to pay them.

Society:

Classes exist as they do in feudal society. King, barons, dukes, and peasants.

Churches play a major role, being a mystic society. However, kings retain sovereign rule.

Languages:

There are at least five different languages. The most spoken is Draydian.

Religion:

The general populous believe in gods and put faith in their priests to communicate their wishes to the gods.

Castes:

Slavery is looked on as dishonorable, and hence is not tolerated. As for talking to different classes . . . it depends on the person. Some nobles are nicer than others.

Economy:

Gold is the currency. Women run shops, and men fight. Some kingdoms are female-ruled, others are male-ruled. Both co-exist although difficulties do arise...

Military:

Any man or woman can become a knight if they pass the physical ardors involved in the training. The people are allowed to choose what they want to do most of the time. People can move up in society, so many work hard.

Sports and Leisure:

The knights spend almost all of their time defending the realm. Other people enjoy swimming, running contests, archery contests, and jesters.

Major Population Centers:

The most well-known land is that of the Emperor Drayyd VII. Drayyd is also the most well-known Lord of the Land. He is beloved of all the people and all other kings listen to his advice. He is un-married and rules from his throne in the center of the Este Continent. His palace is over 1,000 years old and was made by a race of beings long forgotten and unmatched in skill.

Chronic Problems:

The alien invaders are a major concern of the Lords of the Land and the majority of the populous. Before the aliens, there were beings from an island in between the two large continents. These beings sometimes come out, but never have in full force. The only knowledge about them is that they can be killed with a lot of work. And the rest is rumor.
